Uri

The canton in central Switzerland attracts hikers, mountaineers and climbing enthusiasts alike. A popular tour is the Alpenkranz Uri stage tour, which comprises a total of 39 stages. In addition, the circumnavigation of the Vierwälderstättersee, the Surenenwanderung and the 85 km Vier-Quellen-Weg, which connects the Reuss, Rhone, Rhine and Ticino rivers, are both scenic and challenging.

An equally worthwhile attraction for Tell fans is the Tell Museum in Wattigwilerturm, which contains a comprehensive collection of documents and objects about the Swiss national hero.
