Day ski tour Lötschenlücke via Louwitor
The starting point of this tour is the Sphinxstollen on the Jungfraujoch. You can get to the Jungfraujoch by train via Grindelwald (Eiger Express). The journey to the Jungfraujoch takes about 1.5 hours.
After a short descent on the Jungfraufirn, skins up and climb the Louwitor, avoiding the crevasses. Then a long descent over the Kranzbergfirn. Before the second ascent (approx. 1.5 h), it is worth taking a short break and strengthening yourself for the last ascent. Ascent to the Hollandiahütte.
The descent to Blatten (depending on snow conditions only possible to Fafleralp) is a pleasure. Technically not demanding.
From Blatten, the post bus takes you to Goppenstein, where you have to change to the train.
