We leave the car at the car park (toll from May to September) and walk along the path through the woods, along the Tresengo stream. When you reach the shore of the lake (known for the red colour of the water until the 70s), turn right over a small bridge and continue along the road, partly asphalted, that goes around the lake. Along the walk we pass the visitor centre; there are panels describing the characteristics of the lake, its formation, flora and fauna. The only part that is a bit dangerous, where children should be guided by hand, is just after the pebble beach, with an information board that tells you to use the ropes in the rock (along this section there is also a board fence that blocks access to the lake). Once this part is overcome, we reach the final part of our hike and can explore the clear waters of the lake and admire the enchanting landscape;
