Beautiful, albeit demanding hike with a stunning view.

This is a beautiful hike that can be done in a bit less than 5 hours (a bit more if you want to take your time). But it is a demanding one essentially for three reasons:
- Large portions are stony
- Some parts require full attention as the side of the path is steep
- Some parts are technically difficult
All in all, it is a demanding hike, but 100% worth it.
P.S.: It can be done the other way round, but I prefer this way for the view in front of me.

Public-transport-friendly
Train to Sion, then bus to Grande Dixence ("Le Chargeur"), then cable car to the top of the dam.
On the way back, bus from Thyon 2000 to Sion. Check the schedule as there are few of them.
