Rudolf Rother Bergverlag, München, Venediger-gebiet (Kleine führer) en Zillertaler-Alpen (tevens Kleine führer). Gidsjes zijn duur en geen van beiden voor de hele tocht bruikbaar!

- Kompass-Wanderkarte nr. 38, 1:50.000, Venedigergruppe en Oberpinzgau. Dit is de enige kaart die, op een klein stukje Italië na, de hele tocht bevat.
- AV-Karte 34/1, 1:50.000 voor de eerste dagen, nr 35/3, 1:25.000, zeer gedetailleerd, bruikbaar voor dag 4 vanaf Krimml en dag 6 t/m 10 tot Gerlospas.
